Summary

Oversees the BR MLS Support area to ensure members receive exceptional customer service for all MLS tools and services. Retains the primary responsibility to handle operational issues within the MLS system ensuring accuracy and usefulness for members and end-users. Works to resolve customer service problems and MLS operations issues in coordination with the MLS Executive Officer. Responsible for developing and instructing MLS technology education classes and traveling to member offices for instruction.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., exempt
Location: In person and remote

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Is fully knowledgeable of the MLS Rules and Regulations and By-laws, Lock Box Rules and Regulations and Policies of Baldwin REALTORS®.
  • Maintains a working relationship with MLS Vendors and third-party integrated support systems.
  • Oversees the BR rule checking software (Listing Integrity) to supervise maintenance responsibilities and creation and implementation for new and existing rules.
  • Develops technology training and delivery systems to ensure members are supported through the opportunity to enhance their understanding and application of MLS tools & resources to stay relevant with current & future market conditions.
  • Travels to member offices to deliver MLS training.
  • Develops scripts and participates in videos to provide valuable tips and tricks to membership.
  • Oversees all aspects of MLS Support to ensure BR members needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Creates and executes customer service polls to gauge membership satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the MLS Executive Officer to keep MLS data updated and accurate.
  • Work closely with the MLS Executive Officer to integrate changes and updates to the BR Rules and Regulations ensuring membership is informed of any changes to the MLS system, By-laws, and Rules and Regulations.
  • Ensure the Executive Officer is informed of any problems with the system or membership.
  • Work with MLS Executive Officer to support NAR technology initiatives and recommend appropriate integrations with MLS activities.
  • Serves as back up and support to MLS Specialist and MLS Compliance Coordinator.
  • Actively participate with NMUG and Council of Multiple Listing Service (CMLS) to network with professional peers, keep abreast with market trends, technology shifts, and industry standards.
  • Travel to MLS Vendor meetings and other industry related meetings as requested.
  • All other duties as assigned by MLS Executive Officer.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Microsoft products
  • Strong customer support skills/experience
  • Excellent Communicator and Team Player
  • Knowledge of real estate industry required
  • Knowledge of Paragon software a plus
