Henderson, NV, June 11, 2026 – The Council of Multiple Listing Services today announced that Jessica Edgerton will serve as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2026. Edgerton brings 16 years of leadership experience in organized real estate. She served as legal counsel for the National Association of REALTORS® for five years before joining Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE), where she has served as Chief Legal Officer for the past nine years. As CEO, Edgerton will lead CMLS in advancing the MLS community, strengthening member value, and championing an accessible, efficient, and transparent housing market enabled by the MLS.

CMLS serves as the trade association for Multiple Listing Services in North America, bringing MLS leaders and industry partners together around shared priorities, practical resources, and a clear voice for the value of the MLS. Under Edgerton’s leadership, CMLS will continue to focus on member engagement, industry leadership, and resources that help MLSs navigate change with confidence.

In her work with LeadingRE, Edgerton supported a global network of more than 500 brokerages across 70 countries, many of which operate in markets without an MLS system. That perspective gives her a firsthand understanding of the value MLSs create through complete, accurate, and trusted real estate information.
“Through my work with brokerages around the world, I have seen what real estate markets look like when professionals and consumers do not have access to the complete, trusted information an MLS provides,” said Edgerton. “It gives me an even deeper appreciation for the MLS as essential market infrastructure and for the leaders who make that system work every day.”
Edgerton’s appointment also reflects the respect she has earned across the real estate industry through her work with brokerages, networks, and industry leaders.
