Consalvo Hall of Fame recognizes a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and collaboration that continues to shape the MLS community

September 28, 2026 | Fort Lauderdale, FL — The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) today announced the induction of Matt Consalvo, CEO of Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service (ARMLS), into its Hall of Fame and, in a lasting recognition of his impact on the MLS profession, the renaming of the honor as the Consalvo Hall of Fame.

The Consalvo Hall of Fame is CMLS’s lifetime achievement recognition for leaders whose careers advance the MLS profession and whose influence continues through the people and organizations they support.

“Matt has spent his career showing what MLS leadership can accomplish when clear thinking, innovation, and collaboration come together,” said Jessie Edgerton, CEO of CMLS. “His influence reaches far beyond Arizona. He has helped modernize the MLS, challenged his peers to consider new possibilities, and generously shared what he has learned with leaders throughout the industry. Inducting Matt recognizes an extraordinary career. Naming the Hall of Fame for him carries forward the kind of leadership and service he has modeled for all of us.”

A name that reflects the meaning of the honor

Longtime MLS industry leader David Charron proposed renaming the Hall of Fame for Consalvo, citing both his professional accomplishments and his lasting influence on peers. The CMLS Awards Committee agreed, with the name change taking immediate effect.

“What sets Matt apart is something no résumé line captures: he is invariably available to all who would seek his opinion,” Charron said. “That generosity of time and counsel is the mentorship this award is intended to recognize. Naming this award after him would not simply honor a career, it would put a name and a face on the very qualities the award is meant to perpetuate.”

Charron described the Hall of Fame as especially meaningful because it comes from peers within the MLS community, recognizing leaders who have devoted their careers to advancing the profession and mentoring others.

More than two decades of MLS leadership

Consalvo’s MLS career spans more than two decades. His relationship with ARMLS began in 2003 through Supra/GE Security, where he managed the Supra lockbox system and worked closely with ARMLS. He joined ARMLS in 2009, later serving as Director of Support Operations, Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO before becoming the organization’s fourth CEO in 2012.

Under his leadership, ARMLS expanded its technology capabilities, strengthened its operations and introduced products and systems including Monsoon, RapidStats, Atlas, and Helios. ARMLS-developed technology also reached other MLS organizations, extending the impact of that work beyond Arizona.

Consalvo also co-founded Markt and MLS Aligned, initiatives grounded in the belief that MLSs can create greater value by working together. His broader industry service has included contributions through CMLS, the National Association of REALTORS®, RESO, and other industry groups.

Leadership within CMLS

Consalvo’s service to CMLS spans more than a decade. He contributed as a CMLX instructor and workgroup participant, joined the CMLS Board of Directors, served as Secretary/Treasurer in 2019 and received the Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year Award in 2020. He later served as Chair-Elect, CMLS Chair in 2022 and Past Chair in 2023, then began another three-year term on the CMLS Board in 2024.

Throughout that service, colleagues have valued Consalvo’s ability to bring clarity to complicated issues and help leaders move toward practical action.

“Matt Consalvo was always a calming voice in situations where the discussions were heated or confusing,” said Brad Bjelke, CEO of UtahRealEstate.com and a longtime industry colleague. “He was able to summarize big issues in a succinct and reasonable manner, the way only Matt could do.”

A legacy carried forward through others

For many colleagues, Consalvo’s influence reaches beyond formal leadership roles. His nomination materials repeatedly point to his accessibility, mentorship, and willingness to share perspective with peers navigating operational challenges and industry change.

“He has personally assisted me anytime I reached out to him, and I am far from the only one,” said Jerry Legrand, CEO of APEX MLS and one of Consalvo’s nominators.

As Consalvo approaches retirement from ARMLS, his influence continues through the organizations he has strengthened, the collaborations he has helped create, and the leaders who have benefited from his counsel.

The Consalvo Hall of Fame ensures that legacy remains part of how CMLS recognizes leadership for years to come.
