CMLS Marketplace will give members a central destination to discover relevant technology, services and special offers

BRANDON, FL | October 2, 2026 | The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) today announced plans to expand the ways business partners, technology providers and vendors can engage with the CMLS community, including the development of a new CMLS Marketplace designed to create another channel for companies to connect with CMLS MLS and Brokerage members.

The Marketplace will create a centralized directory for products, services, programs and special offers from companies that support the MLS and broader real estate ecosystem. Participating organizations will be able to share information and offers directly with CMLS members, while members will have a new place to discover companies and resources relevant to their organizations.

“The MLS ecosystem includes an incredible range of technology providers, consultants, educators and other organizations that support the work of MLSs and brokerages,” said Jessie Edgerton, CEO of CMLS. “The CMLS Marketplace is about creating more opportunities for those organizations and our members to find each other and connect.”

The Marketplace is not an endorsement by CMLS of any participating company, product or service, and participation will not be exclusive. CMLS will provide the platform and marketing channel, while participating companies will be responsible for the products, services, offers and relationships they make available through the Marketplace.

CMLS has already received early commitments from organizations representing several areas of the real estate and professional services ecosystem, including Real Reports, SourceRE, Mike Staver and Matthew Ferrara. Initial offerings are expected to span categories including technology solutions, strategic planning, leadership development, executive coaching, education and other professional services.

These early participants represent the beginning of the Marketplace, not a closed group. These organizations, along with others, have helped to conceptualize the program, identify benefits, and test structure while Marketplace is still in development. CMLS is actively building the program and inviting business partners, vendors, consultants and technology providers interested in reaching the MLS community to participate.

Additional details about participation and offers available through participating companies will be announced as CMLS prepares for a broader launch in the coming months.

More Ways to Connect With the CMLS Community

The Marketplace will complement CMLS’ existing opportunities for business partners to build relationships with MLS leaders and participate in conversations across the industry.

Business partners can engage with the CMLS community through event sponsorships, educational programming and other forums throughout the year. These opportunities include CMLS Open House, the organization’s annual conference, which will take place in Dallas in October 2027, as well as virtual events such as Brings It To The Table and additional programs and events planned for 2027.

Business partners can also sponsor and participate in MLS Matters webinars and engage with MLS leaders through other CMLS educational programs, discussions and member forums.

The CMLS Marketplace will add another option to that mix: an ongoing marketing channel where participating organizations can maintain a presence, introduce their products and services, and make CMLS-specific offers available to MLS and Brokerage members.

“Not every company wants to engage with the CMLS community in the same way,” Edgerton said. “For some, an event sponsorship or webinar may be the right fit. For others, the Marketplace creates an opportunity to maintain visibility and make a product, service or offer available to our members throughout the year. Our goal is to create more channels for meaningful connections between the organizations serving this industry and the MLS and brokerage leaders they want to reach.”

For CMLS members, the Marketplace will provide another way to identify vendors, technology providers, consultants and other organizations serving the MLS ecosystem. Any transactions, services or agreements resulting from Marketplace participation will be directly between the participating company and the CMLS member.

CMLS expects to announce additional participating organizations and details about Marketplace access with the formal launch of the program in the coming months.
