Canopy MLS CEO honored for more than 25 years of leadership and lasting impact on the MLS industry
Fort Lauderdale, FL | October 1, 2026 | The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) today announced the induction of Anne Marie DeCatsye, Esq., CEO of Canopy Realtor® Association and Canopy MLS, into the Consalvo Hall of Fame. CMLS presented the honor during its annual conference, Open House, recognizing a career defined by innovation and a commitment to strengthening the MLS community.

For more than 25 years, DeCatsye has questioned longstanding practices and turned new ideas into action. Her willingness to take on complex issues, test different approaches, and share those lessons with others has extended her influence well beyond the organization she leads.
“Anne Marie has never been content to simply respond to change. She has helped lead the industry through it,” said Jessie Edgerton, CEO of CMLS. “Throughout her career, she has brought conviction to difficult decisions and generosity to her relationships with peers. Anne Marie’s induction into the Consalvo Hall of Fame recognizes a legacy that has made the MLS community stronger.”
“As Anne Marie DeCatsye is inducted into the Hall of Fame, I could not be more proud to celebrate a leader whose vision, passion, and commitment have made such a lasting impact on our industry,” said Joan B. Goode, 2026 president of Canopy Realtor® Association and Canopy MLS. “For more than 25 years, Anne Marie has had an extraordinary ability to see what is ahead, embrace change, and lead with both courage and clarity.”
In 2024, DeCatsye led Canopy MLS to become the first MLS in North Carolina to announce a transition to an open MLS, effective January 1, 2025. As organizations across the country considered similar models, her team made its resources available to help peers evaluate what the shift could mean for their own markets.
Leadership Beyond Canopy

DeCatsye is one of four founding CEOs of the Southeast MLS Alliance, a regional data-sharing initiative originally formed by Canopy MLS, Charleston Trident MLS, Georgia MLS and Realtracs. With the addition of realMLS in Jacksonville, the alliance now connects organizations serving more than 100,000 real estate professionals in more than 11,000 offices.
Her national service includes roles with the Realtor.com MLS Advisory Board and MLS Grid Board of Managers. She has also represented large regional MLSs on the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and chaired the MLS Executives Forum.
“What I admire most is her willingness to share what she has learned and bring others along with her,” said Goode. “Her leadership has strengthened Canopy, but her influence reaches far beyond the markets we serve. This recognition is so well deserved, and it is a wonderful celebration of the difference one remarkable leader can make in an organization, an industry, and the lives of those around her.”
DeCatsye served on the CMLS Board of Directors from 2018 through 2020 and as secretary/treasurer in 2021. Her contributions have continued through CMLS task forces and work groups, as well as appearances at CMLS Brings It To The Table, MLS Matters, and Open House.
